Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
DeFlock Murphy is a resident-led, nonpartisan civic-education initiative focused on license-plate surveillance policy in Murphy, Texas. This is a static informational website, not a business, and not affiliated with the City of Murphy, Flock Group Inc., or any political party.
2. What we collect
This site does not run analytics that identify you personally. We collect nothing beyond whatever standard server logs our hosting provider keeps in the ordinary course of serving web pages (such as IP address and request timestamps, retained per the host's own policy). If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to write and your email address.
3. Cookies and trackers
We do not use cookies or tracking scripts beyond what is strictly necessary to serve the page. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts; Google may process standard request data (such as IP address) as part of delivering those font files, under Google's own privacy policy.
4. Third-party links
This site links to news articles, government pages, and other public records. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites. Review their own policies before sharing information with them.
5. Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience concerned with local civic policy. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Your choices
Because we collect essentially nothing beyond standard server logs, there is little to opt out of. If you emailed us and want that email deleted from our own inbox, ask and we will do so.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
8. Contact
Questions or corrections about this policy can be raised the same way as any other correction to the site: reach out through the contact channel referenced on our Terms page.
